The SCAR Project: Breast Cancer Is Not A Pink Ribbon
The SCAR Project is a series of large-scale portraits of young breast cancer survivors shot by fashion photographer David Jay. Primarily an awareness raising campaign, The SCAR Project puts a raw, unflinching face on early onset breast cancer while paying tribute to the courage and spirit of so many brave young women.
Dedicated to the more than 10,000 women under the age of 40 who will be diagnosed this year alone, The SCAR Project is an exercise in awareness, hope, reflection and healing.

Happy day sixty-four! Because of my boredom in the fx, I was finally able to solve this puzzle! Yay!
Happy day sixty-three! I’ve always wanted to try using a face mask, but was always too lazy to buy one… But I got this one for free! A pasalubong from a colleague at work. Yay for more free stuff!
Happy day sixty-two! My mom got this free at a convention and gave it to me :) I was already planning on buying blu-tack; but thanks to my mom, I don’t have to. I even have colorful glu-tacks :)
Happy day sixty-one! My first spa experience! Enjoyed a nice shower to wash off all the sweat from our activities at the Tree Top Adventure (actually, it was all just from the summer heat), hot and cold jacuzzi and lastly, a full body massage (also my first) … All for free
